sponge filters

currently setting up a community tank, i wanna just use the sponge filter i have in there, would that work or should i get an actual filter?

A sponge filter is an actual filter . Send some pictures but as long as it’s good for the size of the tank and there’s some live plants in there you’re set

oh i didn't know they worked like that. im getting plants but dont have them yet.
