My mortal wound is barely visible but my little man is getting some teeth and he decided to let me know it 
Very strong bite for such a tiny little dude. He mistook my pinky for food and wasted no time going in for the kill. I lifted him off the ground and held him there for a solid 30 seconds before he decided it was time to release his prey. Did it hurt? Only my heart 
I’m pretty late posting this but unfortunately our Savannah monitor has passed away in June. I won’t get into specifics but it was very sudden and unexpected. These things happen when keeping pets of any sort and can happen seemingly without cause. It is simply part of the journey. Thank you for following this short lived thread. There will be more to come.
